World Leaders Sign Peace While It Lasts Treaty

In a historic move that experts are calling “emotionally temporary,” world leaders gathered in Geneva this week to sign the Peace While It Lasts Treaty (PWILT) — a groundbreaking agreement that promises global harmony “until the next minor misunderstanding.”
The treaty, drafted by the newly formed Ministry of Conditional Optimism, aims to ensure that countries remain peaceful for at least “two news cycles or one awkward handshake, whichever comes first.” The document reportedly includes fine print clarifying that peace “may be revoked in the event of an emoji misinterpretation or trade disagreement involving cheese.”
